Improve Your Brand In Five Steps

Sales brings in money, but brand brings in legacy.


Wouldn't it be nice to be able to sell whatever you wanted, whenever you wanted regardless of the company you are at?

Brand protects you from having your identity stolen. It does not matter how much someone wants to copy your product and how much cheaper they can sell it.

People who follow your brand will turn against your competitors and stick with you. Brand gives you options to higher prices. Brand is the ultimate freedom.

No one can do it like you. No one can do it like the team that you put together.


So the question then becomes, how do you start? How does someone go about building a brand?


If you realized how long this would actually take you might get scared off. because you are actually building one right now.

It takes a lot of trial and error but I will give you 5 things you can do to start doing today to improve your brand.




First, associate yourself with something.


An animal, a color, an object, money, a tree, it doesn't matter, because it only matters that it means something to you. You need to choose something that you love more than anything because it will be something you are going to be promoting. If you choose a lion and hate how aggressive they are, then all you will think is your audience hates it too.


Second, we love color as humans.


Every color means something different and there is no wrong color choice for you. Take time to learn what each color makes people feel on a physiological level. You don't want people enthusiastic or excited when they should feel calm or at peace about you.


Third, make it relatable for your specific audience.


I have seen too many people try to go after a younger or older generation with something outdated. The last thing a young audience want to see is an outdated website and webinars with times new roman fonts. Everything in branding matters.


Fourth, become more than a symbol.

The logo or brand is something you choose. But it does not represent you. You are the brand. Not the other way around.


Fifth, learn to get your message out.


There are so many platforms today to do this. We are past the times where you were bound by radio, magazines and tv.


You now have all of those and in addition we can add YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and online publishing. Each one has a specific method to the madness and you are required to find out how to use them and not have them use you.


Now go an do them.


Treat this list as if it really were going to make a difference in your life and it will.

The problem people face is getting started and sticking with it. If you start here you will notice new doors start to open once you finish these items.
